Last updated: 20 July 2026. This policy covers cancellations and refunds for Vehicle Protection Plan payments made through Razorpay.
You may cancel your Vehicle Protection Plan within 7 days of the purchase date, provided no claim has been submitted or approved under the plan during that period. To cancel, contact us at hello@xtendedcarwarranty.com or +91 70 5862 8871 with your name, registered mobile number, and payment reference.
Cancellations made within the 7-day window are eligible for a refund of the plan premium paid, less any applicable administrative fees. If your cancellation request is received after the 7-day window, or after a claim has been submitted, your plan is non-refundable, except where required by law.
All eligible refunds are processed back to the original payment method used at checkout, via Razorpay. Once a refund is approved, it is initiated within 2 business days and typically reflects in your account within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer's processing time.
If an amount was debited from your account but your Vehicle Protection Plan was not activated due to a technical error, or if you were charged more than once for the same plan, contact us immediately with your payment reference (visible in your bank/UPI app or Razorpay confirmation email). We will verify the transaction with Razorpay and process a full refund of the erroneous charge, typically within 5–7 business days of verification.
Refunds will not be issued where: a claim has already been submitted or approved under the plan; the cancellation request is made after the 7-day window; the plan was cancelled due to fraud, misrepresentation, or a breach of the Terms & Conditions on your part; or the vehicle inspection reveals the vehicle did not meet eligibility criteria at the time of purchase and this was not disclosed accurately.
